Peabody Energy - North Antelope Rochelle Mine
The largest surface coal mine in North America, North Antelope Rochelle utilizes a 650,000 gallon tank to store diesel fuel delivered by their supplier.  A local fuel contractor fills its trucks from the primary tank and delivers the fuel to nine different Mobile Fueling Depots located in various areas on the mine site.  FlowTech constructed the fuel delivery/ filling stations at the primary tank as well as all nine Mobile Fueling Depots.
Peabody Energy - Rawhide Mine
A surface coal mine located in Wyoming's Powder River Basin, Rawhide is in the process of updating its fueling facilities to meet the challenges of tougher environmental policies and higher fueling costs.  FlowTech constructed a new light vehicle fueling station consisting of one 12,000 gallon double wall on-road diesel tank and one 12,000 gallon double wall gasoline tank.  Both tanks are equipped with an overflow protection system and a new fuel dispenser monitored with one card/ keypad enabled fuel security system.

FlowTech  Projects
Black Jewel - Belle Ayr Mine
FlowTech constructed this fully enclosed steel building on a 20'x30' skid with a 1000 gallon containment sump recessed in to the floor.  This building can be moved for one location to the next.  It includes one walk in door, one 10' overhead door.  A flow switch was installed to trigger an audible/visible alarm if liquid is present in the sump.  The mine uses the building to provided heated and fully contained storage for lube oils and 55 gallon drums.
Peabody Energy - Caballo Mine
Located just south of Gillette in Wyoming's Powder River Basin, Caballo mine is utilizing four Mobile Fueling Depots to increase diesel storage capacity and reduce the inefficiencies associated with using a permanent fueling facility.  The 60K Mobile Fueling Units are centrally located on the two main haul roads while the 20K Depots are located on a truck dump and a dozer push down area.  Each Depots is completely self sufficient with a double wall fuel tank, generator and multi-stage fuel filtration system.
Black Hills Corporation - Wyodak Mine
After demolishing the old readyline and tank farm, FlowTech constructed a state-of-the-art fueling complex featuring 90,000 gallons of storage capacity, 10 haul truck fuel stations each equipped with a 12 kW hotstart and a fast fueling station capable of refilling fuel trucks at 250 gpm.  All fuel is filtered down to 5 microns through a multi-stage high flow filtration system and tanks are equipped with an overfill prevention system, secondary tank alarms and fail close outlet valves.  As part of the project, FlowTech also constructed a 2,000 gallon gasoline fuel island, a 10,000 used oil storage tank and a 13 station support equipment hotstart line.
Copper Mine in Arizona
FlowTech constructed two Multi-Station Fuel Docks each featuring 60,000 gallons of storage capacity,  8 haul truck fueling stations and one fuel truck fast fueling station capable of refilling fuel trucks at 300 gpm.  All fuel is filtered down to 5 microns through a multi-stage high flow filtration system and tanks are equipped with an overfill prevention system, secondary tank alarms and fail close outlet valves.  These FlowTech Fueling Docks enabled our customer to improve productivity by greatly decreasing refueling times and minimizing idle time during shift change.
